District‎ > ‎

Assistant Principal/Director of Curriculum and Instruction

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as Spring Lake Heights School’s Assistant Principal/Director of Curriculum and Instruction. As many of you know, I have been teaching in the district for nineteen years and know most of your families well. My experience spans all subject areas and numerous grade levels.  In addition, I have also served as the district’s Teacher Leader.

“Preparation. Pride. Possibilities.” Our motto embodies the shared vision of our Heights family and is fostered by a leadership team that facilitates a nurturing and academically challenging school environment.  To help prepare our students for successful careers and to become responsible citizens, teachers proudly provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each student while emphasizing a social-emotional curriculum as well.  We encourage our students to take pride in their work and their caring, conscientious behaviors. This unique combination opens up endless possibilities to them! My goal as a school leader is to continue offering support for our existing programs while encouraging innovation in and beyond the classroom.

I strongly believe that parents, teachers, support staff, and administrators all have important roles in inspiring our children to become active, engaged learners and responsible citizens in a rapidly changing society. I am eager to work together to continue to offer creative learning opportunities to our students.
